So its not official- but I will tell you, its time to start getting idea's together. I probably have a month or so until it is official and then a four month or so engangement- so I I figure 6 months out is an ideal amount of time to plan a wedding.
ah AH AH!!! I'm excited, are you? Right now I'm laying out the foundation for what is really the idea or feel of the wedding. I want to be original and have a blast. I really want my wedding to kind of have a summer carnival feel. I want it to be relaxed but formal at the same time.
I want to have a wedding party. I want to have a reception in a stake center- like a thrifty mormon would. But I think I want Candy instead of flowers. And I think I want a cotton candy machine, and I think I want my reception to have like a huge festival theme- mostly because carnival's are fun! Plus I need an excuse to have a bounce house! I want live music.
I want a dj for like 2 hrs after the live music has played out. I want snacks not a meal. I want cupcakes- not a cake. These are thoughts I'm having. I think I will have to run most of these by the Zach before I get too set in stone. But he's pretty awesome, so I think I might be able to talk him into it.
